King Cropp is my FAVORITE restaurant in Danville! Their staff has the best customer service (better than chick fil a!), their food is delicious, and their servings are huge. I have never ordered anything that I didn't like, and I am a picky eater! They are also dietary restriction friendly, having clearly marked options for people who have a gluten allergy, alpha gal allergy, or are a vegetarian or a vegan. You will love whatever you get and are guaranteed to leave there with leftovers. It is WELL worth the money. They also are great supporters of our community and the other local businesses within it! I cannot recommend this place enough.

I give King Cropp 10 stars! The building is so inviting, the restrooms are immaculate and they serve allergy friendly foods that my husband can enjoy! We will be back many times, mainly for the okra!

Every single bite I put in my mouth was fresh and delicious and exciting, from the appetizers to the entrees to the cocktails! The service and atmosphere are equally amazing. My favorite thing—a dish I will never forget—was the bang bang shrimp. Definitely different than others I've had, in the best way possible. Can't wait wait to go back!

I can't say enough about how much we love King Cropp! Darcy pours her heart out in the dining room maintaining their attentive and courteous waitstaff and Chris kills it in the kitchen with his awesome staff! I love the unique-ness to all the dishes they offer. Our favorites are Sesame Cauliflower with fried cabbage and side salad with balsamic vinaigrette and Main Street Mac!Everything has amazing flavor! If you're looking for a date night or just a weeknight dinner- Kind Cropp is the spot! I can't wait to try A Slice Above �� We love you guys! Keep up the great work.

Fantastic service and food!!! Portions are huge. Pulled pork was tender, juicy and tasty. Tots were crispy and cole slaw was just right. The Angus meat loaf was tender and juicy, enough of a serving for tomorrow's lunch. Fried cabbage was great too. Perfect dinner. thanks chef and staff. We will be back.

The food is delicious, the service is even better! We had the parmesan truffle tots and WOW! And my husband absolutely loved his grilled cheese (the smash it) and my mac and cheese was delicious too! Don't skip the caramel macchiato creme brûlée for dessert!

Finding King Cropp was a food lovers dream come true! We recently moved to the area and we're so thankful to have found a restaurant that sources locally and puts so much love into the food they prepare. Every dish we have tried has been absolutely delicious. Even our 1 and 2 year old babes love it, so you know it's amazing! Excited to have this awesome restaurant in our backyard for decades to come!

King Cropp continues to amaze me with their food! I don't ever recall having a bad meal or experience when we eat there. Yesterday I tried the Calabash Mac and Cheese with a side of chili before that came out. The chili was perfect, creamy and delicious. The Mac was to die for, I highly recommend! My wife got a chicken philly with tots, we shared both meals with each other. The philly and tots were equally amazing! Emily also got a spiked cider to go with her meal, then she ordered banana pudding for desert. We can't wait for the new menu! � Thank you Darcy for amazing service!

Wonderful dinner with amazing food. The sesame cauliflower should not be missed. The batter is so light and the sauce is flavorful. The catfish is a large portion and cooked to perfection. So many options that it is hard to choose. Great selection, fast and attentive service. Can't wait to come back.

I'm no food snob... ok, maybe, I am, and this place is legit! My girl and I shared two meals and four vegetables along with a bottle of Cab from Washington State that was to die for. I had Ahi tuna and ginger, she had beef medallions and wine sauce, mashed cauliflower, broccoli, fried cabbage, and mushrooms made it complete. We shared everything, drank the wine, and laughed. Then; topped it off with coffee Kreme brûlée's. I know this sounds like a bot, but; it's not! Hey, King Cropp, Thank You... turn down the lights a little so we can get lost �

Enjoyed a delicious lunch recently. The grilled pimento cheese with pickled jalapeños was delish. The atmosphere and fine service made lunch break a very relaxing experience. Prices are reasonable, especially considering food quality and portion sizes.

King Cropp has been open for a while, but i just recently started going & im obsessed. I really wish i would've tried this place out sooner because I'm craving to try every menu item they have � Everything is home made, lots of southern options and absolutely delicious. I've tried their fried pickles, truffle parm tater tots, chicken nuggets, Mac n cheese, patty melt, sesame cauliflower, and creme brûlée. Their sesame cauliflower is the absolute bombbbb. You would never know it was cauliflower it tastes that good. I actually completely underestimated their 'chicken nuggets' but never in my life, have i tasted chicken made so perfectly. AND the best part? they have a whole section devoted to Mac n cheese ��♀️ They don't cheat you. Their portions are big. They have tons of gluten free, vegan & vegetarian options, they're quick as heck, super polite & very attentive when serving you! Definitely would recommend liking their Facebook page because they also run specials all the time and change it up. Anyways, the point of this post was to tell you to freakin try this place. Promise you'll be a happy customer.

King Cropp is another little gem in downtown Danville. Food is farm fresh and hot and everthing was delicious. Just wish they had some kind of agrreement with bank across the street for parking, Still a great experience and our server was wonderful!!!!

If you haven't tried King Cropp, you are seriously missing out! The place is absolutely beautiful and the staff is amazing and very friendly. The chef is hands down one of the best in Danville! I highly recommend the Gumbo. It is by far the best I have ever had. Closest thing to it was the gumbo I had at Mardi Gras, and his tops it! 5 stars to Chef Chris and Darcy!!

We are from Martinsville and will drive here for a wonderful food experience. The service and food are outstanding! We love good food and this is definitely the best place in Danville. They have Gluten free and vegan choices on the menu. The chef and staff are extremely helpful when dealing with an allergy. It is hard to find a place like this.......Danville, you have a jewel.

The best food in Danvillle, hands down. Chris and Darcy put so much care into this place and so much care into the food. I hate that has taken so long to get to experience Chris' food again, but this is truly a gem in southern Virginia. There are only a few restaurants that I would put in this same class. There are decent restaurants in Danville. But there is a difference between getting decent or even good food and food that is prepared in a way that truly shows thought, care, and freshness. Do not stop, do not pass go, do not collect $200.. You need to go here and support this amazing restaurant. Any city would be incredibly lucky to have this kind of talent.
